Our business began by accident when my wife, Misty, posted a picture on Facebook of a Christmas gift I made her in 2012. One of the things we like to do together in our spare time is target shooting. Misty is a criminal justice major, and I grew up hunting with my father, grandfather and grandmother, so we both are comfortable around guns. We had recently been out on one of our shooting "dates" and Misty mentioned she would like a ring with one of her 45 caliber casings in it. The queen of hints, she also left a magazine picture of a bullet ring out.  The ring in the picture was very rudimentary and looked like someone had cut a thick bullet casing and soldered it on a very thin band, and then finally dipped it in copper. Not to mention, the price for that rudimentary ring was almost $100.00. I knew I could do better than that, or the cheap metal "one size fits all" squeeze to fit bullet rings. As a CNC programmer and machinist, I engineer things everyday, so I decided to make Misty a ring from scratch - scratch being a solid block of medical grade stainless steel. I precision machined the steel and settings so that the bullet would fit perfectly inside, then I hand shaped and polished the ring. I gave the ring to Misty on Christmas morning and she loved it so much she posted it on her Facebook page. By Christmas afternoon I had my first of many orders! After that friends and local people in our hometown were asking if I could make earrings, necklaces, etc. At first my answer was no, I didn't have time, but the requests and awesome support kept coming in, so I obliged. Most of our pieces started with a custom request, but a few are my creations. One of the special things about our business is that we specialize in taking that special casing and putting it in a custom piece for someone, whether it be from a first animal harvest, last hunting trip with Grandpa, a 21 gun salute, a spouses service caliber, etc.  We can use your casing, or any of the authentic once fired bullets we have on hand. We are proud to say that each piece is precision machined from U.S. medical grade stainless steel and then hand finished. We do NOT simply use cheap craft store metal and assemble our pieces with glue. We only use Swarovski crystals and those are also precision set, not merely glued on top of the primer. Our goal is to provide the best quality bullet jewelry out there at an affordable price. We have come a long way from a single ring and now offer many more pieces, but if there is a piece you can think of that we don't already make, and we can make it, we will! Each of our customers and the support of friends and family has led us to where we are on this "accidental" journey and we are grateful for each and every one of you!
With Much Gratitude,
Dave and Misty
